Iain Foston Piano Tuning

Tuning and repairs across Shropshire and surrounding area

I try to provide affordable piano care and clear advice to help people understand their pianos and get the most out of playing them. Please see below for a summary of my services, and please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any questions.

  • Piano tuning

Starting at £60, includes pedal adjustments and minor regulation. If the piano is very low in pitch it may require a ‘pitch raise’ - a slightly longer process which adds £15-20.

  • Regulation

Changes and adjustments to improve the way the piano feels and sounds. A well-maintained piano might need very little, while others may need more extensive work to get them back on track.

  • Servicing

Starting at £120, this usually includes cleaning inside and out, tuning and some regulation as required. After I have assessed the piano you decide how much you want to do.

  • Repairs

Piano repairs can be time-consuming, but equally they can be surprisingly straightforward. Please contact me to discuss any problems you’re having with your piano.
